Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated in India . Navratri is Celebrated in every hindu house , Navratri motivates the religion of Hinduism. Navratri is the festival in which people worship the Goddess DURGA . Navratri is a nine days festival dedicated to Maa Durga .
Navratri is the Sanskrit word which refers and literally means nine nights . During Navratri there is Nine Nights and ten days . Goddess Durga is worshipped in Nine different forms is known as Navdurga . And all the nine days is celebrated with the joyfulness and lots of happiness . And the tenth day is celebrated as Vijayadashami .
Navratri is celebrated all over the India but in some states Navratri is celebrated very joyfully...Like in western states like Uttar Pradesh , Gujarat , Maharashtra and the southern states also...
In west Bengal Navratri is celebrated as Durga puja...
However in this festival rules and regulations is must...like people have tha Fast during all the nine days of Navratri....In some of the states all the temple of Maa Durga is fully decorated and fully lighting up with the beautiful lights....
